I love having fresh herbs on hand, so I’ve recently planted some in small pots that sit outside my apartment building. I did this last year with just a few herbs in one pot; this year I’ve increased the number of pots and herbs. I have mint, rosemary, basil, thyme, oregano, cilantro, and parsley. I hope they flourish — I love the convenience of stepping outside to clip fresh herbs to use in a recipe!

Those are looking great! Makes me want to try again. Last time I planted some herb pots, it was just too hot here or I didn’t pay enough attention to their watering or something! Doesn’t rosemary smell wonderful?!

I LOVE fresh herbs! One of my favorite things is homemade marinara with fresh herbs. Watch that basil though, it will grow and grow!

Okay…give me the secret to your cilantro! My basil and oregano are doing great, but the cilantro is long gone

My cilantro is actually not doing all that well! It hasn’t really grown and looks pale green. I’m not sure what to do about it!

Have you tried fertilzer? I fertilize my plants every two weeks. But they’re looking great in these pictures!

I just picked up some fertilizer packets that dissolve in my watering can and have started using them. I’m hoping to see some growth!
